A new modelling year!

Okay, now we have all the Christmas and newyear stuff behind us it's back to normal.
I am going to talk about some of my christmas presents though, so here's what happened!

Here's what I got for christmas, some very manly presents right there! I've already started reading the book '1812', it's quite a biggie to be honest! It covers Napoleon's road to Moscow and back, which didn't end well for the French as we know...

The second thing that I wanted to show is the Warlord Games '1812-1815 Russian Line Infantry'. Because I'm new to 28mm scale I'm just buying kits from different brands to try them out and compare quality, details, etc.

It's a couple of the same spue's basically, but I really like the detail!

To my suprise, some metal figures!!

I am also new to metal figures, so this got me very excited!! =D
