The Leipzig 1813 project - part 3

 Another update on my project.

To understand what unit fought where on the battlefield at a specific time, I needed eyewitness accounts of the battle. I already had a few books written by Digby Smith but I had to have '1813 Leipzig, Napoleon and the Battle of the Nations'. The book was first published in 2001 and I think it is the most accurate book available about the battle. It has a lot of eyewitness accounts and describes very accurately the position of the units fighting at any given time. I decided to read the book first before making further plans for my dioramas. I will spend some time painting ofcourse, you'll be updated on that very soon.
